Swales are the natural solution for managing rainwater at source

Narrows are shallow, wide, grass-covered channels used to store and/or drain runoff water.

They slow down the flow of water, enabling sedimentation, particle filtration through the root zone and infiltration into the subsoil. They are mainly used for road and parking lot drainage. A dry ditch can include a buried perforated drain system or be built on permeable soil.

The use of dry channels is advantageous because they blend easily into the landscape and can manage runoff volumes with low maintenance costs.

They can be chosen as best management practices for roads and freeways, urban roads, parking lots, logistics platforms, airports and service stations.
