Underground infiltration basins

Underground infiltration basins prevent the saturation of wastewater and stormwater networks while promoting local water infiltration.

As a source-control solution for stormwater management, these basins collect and gradually infiltrate excess stormwater, reducing the risk of flooding. Runoff water enters through a series of decanting outlets and connected injection pipes. During heavy rainfall, overflow is redirected to an adjacent water collection system.

The water then gradually infiltrates according to the soil's permeability, allowing local authorities and developers to utilize the land above for various developments or to enhance biodiversity, creating a more pleasant and higher-quality living environment for citizens.
